AWE

Journal Entry: Sun May 27, 2007, 1:06 AM
  • Mood: Annoyed
  • Listening to: Cassandra by Cruxshadows
Alright this needs to be updated becuase I can't stand how long the last entry is.

Saw AWE on Thurs. night and all I have to say is I'm disappointed in it. It could have been so much better. Didn't help that everything I didn't want to happen, happened. I don't want to give anything away just incase people haven't seen it yet. I've written a whole thing about it here: [link] I'll leave it unlocked for a week or so. I need to see it again because I was just furious at it through out the movie so I couldn't really concentrate lol.

Yep. I mean I've been on one for some sort or tour when I was rreeally little but I don't count that. Actually I honestly don't know anyone that has really ridden a train anywhere. NYC (which was 7 hours away from me lol) might have a few but where I lived they were mainly used for like cargo and that. Most people here get around by car, plane and on a rare ocassion, busses.

Really? never?

but I thought New york was full of trains!

Yes I did :D and yea it was pretty cool. I got to sit in Sweeney's chair! It didn't do anything though like everyone else's :( There was this amazing chair they had for sale too and I had to get my picture with it XD [link] I wish I had the $2400 for it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely have to look into it. And ya know, I have never been on a train actually. sorry random little fact lol.

wow...florida a hell hole

well I'm glad you like london, even though it is quite expensive - did you see the london dungeon? I think you'd love that!

but oh well, Norwich is nice too if you still want to study (especially for 'the arts';) and it's 2 hours away by train to London :)

ok long story lol. I was going to Newcastle for a study abroad thing. I got there, LOVED London and every place we went to, confirmed I want to live there (can't tell you how many people my mom almost hit in the round abouts. omg it was hilarious seeing her try to drive). But then I got to Newcastle and hated it. The city was insanely difficult to get around, my classes were like 2 miles away from my dorm (and I would have had to walk it all uphill), there was almost no way for me to get to any stores, It reminded me to much of NYC, and my roommates were major alcoholics. So I came home and I was forced to move down to Florida with my mom. I pretty much hate it here too but it's free food and a roof over my head lol. I'm thinking about going over there in the Spring again but to London this time. The only problem is money and that it's so far away. I just love that country soo much though and I need to get out of this hot hell hole.

I thank god for bitter irony,
The happiness felt through lustful gluttony.
The very things sent to condemn me,
Are the things in life that make me happy.
